VATSALYA CHILDREN'S HOME (1975)

The home has two cottages consisting of twenty five children in each cottage. This home provides residential facility for sixty school going girls who are destitute, orphan and those in moral danger. The girls are pursuing their studies in various schools. The home provides opportunities for the children to get good education, expertise in sports, crafts and music. Emphasis is given for the overall development of the children, which paves the way for them to be self confident and self reliant. Every year children participate in inter school sports, debates, dramatics, cultural events, etc. Some of the girls have completed their graduation and are holding good jobs.

Two children got distinction in their S.S.L.C. exam in 2009 and have joined Pre-University course.

COMPUTER ROOM:

The children’s home had limited space for other activities. So the Management decided to add one more hall to facilitate computer training programme to encourage computing skills of the children. This project has become very essential in context of present day education.

The construction of the computer room is completed and ready for occupation.  The Association is looking for Capital Donations to equip the room with furniture to install the computers.
